Orange San Francisco II is a mid-range handset and is an update over the extremely popular San Francisco. It is also known as ZTE Crescent. Other fruity network branded handsets like San Diego, Monte Carlo, Rio etc. are also budget priced and offer fair smartphone experience.
The device features a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution; at 267 ppi it offers clear and fine visuals. It is good for web browsing and e-Book reading. One can enjoy watching crisp and clear videos on it. It doesn’t have the Gorilla Glass or such fancy protections, but it supports Multitouch.
This gadget possesses a sleek design with solid build quality. At 120 gm it is 10 gm lighter than its predecessor. The fore panel of the model is dominated by the display with three hardware buttons for menu, back and home right below it. The secondary camera sits right above the screen with the speaker at the centre top. The back of the device has been kept minimal with the 5 megapixels shooter at the left top and the LED flash just above it. Bottom has the Orange logo at the centre.
The mobile set has got some improvements over its previous iteration, the 3 megapixels camera without flash is replaced by a 5 megapixels Single-LED flash camera, processor speed has been increased from 600 MHz to 800 MHz and has got the 2.3 Gingerbread version of Android, which offers some really great features of the said operating system. Also on board is the 512 MB RAM and a Micro SD card slot that provides the users with up to 16 GB of storage.
Orange San Francisco II is integrated to social network sites and has got some major Google services like YouTube, map, Gmail, Picasa and Google search. The flash enabled shooter provides the users with better imaging experience even in low light conditions. The geo tag feature allows the users to tag the images with their geographical locations. The front facing camera enables the users with live video chat.
